For US Congress – Minnesota’s 8th District

My name is Emanuel (Manny), and I’m running for US House of Representatives in Minnesota’s 8th US Congressional District. I am an Indian Child Welfare Case Manager for the Bois Forte Band of Chippewa. I have lived on the Vermilion Reservation since October of 2022, graduated from Carleton College in 2021, and was born and raised on Long Island, New York. No shade to my hometown, but life in Minnesota is definitely superior to what New York had to offer!

I have strong and clear positions on important issues like the minimum wage, healthcare, education, tribal relations, immigration (abolish ICE), the genocide in Gaza and genocides that the U.S. has been funding all throughout the world, and making our government more honest. My strategy for winning the election will rely on connecting communities across the district and building something greater. While we are living in a very serious time that may seem overwhelming or scary, I am having a great time visiting the vibrant communities that make up district 8 and fighting for what matters to you! I am not running for corporate spending and will need your support.

Once I’m in Congress, I’ll be supporting and fighting for universal healthcare, free college and technical/trade school, a ban on money in politics, and increased minimum wage, an end to funds to Israel and Saudi Arabia, in addition to many other critical issues affecting our community, which can be found on the “What you are voting for” section of this website. If you have questions on my policies or a specific issue, I would love for you to reach out!

Thank you for your attention to this campaign, and I would be honored to have your support!

Organizing Team

Eventure is curated by a small team of designers, researchers, and ecologists who believe that technology must serve the planet — not the other way around. Working between Milan, Nairobi, and São Paulo, the team brings together local knowledge and global collaboration to shape a gathering rooted in care, creativity, and systems thinking.
We don’t just program talks — we curate experiences, relationships, and ideas that grow long after the event ends.
